Generative Design and the Enterprise
Nicolas uses numerics and code to nurture creative processes and help solve strategic challenges. He designs tools, models and interfaces tailored to the situation, whether it be a generative brand identity system, a recommendation algorithm for a cultural mobile app, a multi-screen interactive engagement experience for a conference, or an evolutive live-streamed logo.
An advocate of generative design as a powerful framework to tackle complexity from both rational and sensitive points of view, Nicolas is founder of discretise!, a consultancy in creative and strategic algorithmics. His clients include industrial and web start-ups, public/cultural institutions as well as large corporate groups.
Prior to his current activity, Nicolas worked for five years in the R&D departments of French industrial groups Air Liquide and Saint-Gobain. He was trained as an engineer at the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a PhD in physics modeling and numerical simulation.
