Mercedes AMG and SAP: An innovation journey
About Moritz
Moritz Gekeler works as a Design Strategist with the SAP Design and Co-Innovation Center in Berlin, Germany. He leads strategic design and co-innovation projects with customers from various industries. Moritz has a strong background in strategic design thinking, design facilitation and teaching. Before SAP he worked for the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam teaching students and executives. In that role he was heavily involved with rolling out design thinking within SAP as an external consultant and at the Kuala Lumpur based innovation school GENOVASI together with the HPI Academy. Moritz also works as a visiting lecturer for universities such as the innovation management department of the university of applied sciences HTW in Berlin and the design department of the university of applied sciences in Dessau.
On the way to doing what he does now, he studied comparative media and literature studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. In his PhD thesis at the university of arts and design HfG in Karlsruhe he focused on communication, design and sustainability.
