Close to one-third of the U.S. economy flows through Intuit’s payroll, invoicing and tax software. What drove such a dominant software company to reinvent itself into a Design Driven Company as declared by its CEO, Brad Smith, one of the most respected CEO’s in Silicon Valley? This story begins in 2006, Intuit found itself in a terrible position — flattening growth, sinking net promoter scores, and a less than desirable innovation pipeline. This talk will tell the story of Intuit’s rebirth in leveraging Design at all levels of company creating a culture based upon design thinking, experimentation and risk taking.
