Passionate about people, you either become a psychologist or a designer. Or both. When you add the curiosity for everything that is product, technology and human experience, you probably end up as a designer. When you get older, the human science part of your job grows bigger again. That is what happened and continues to happen with me.
Since 2003 Andreas leads the global Design activities at Faurecia, based in Paris/France. During this period a global team had been built up, and the relevant skills had been created and developed to establish an industry wide recognized leader in automotive design, representing a unique offer by Faurecia for the global market. From 1999 to 2003, Andreas had been responsible for Advanced Design At Johnson Controls Europe, based in Cologne/Germany. Previously he was at Whirlpool Europe in Varese/Italy where he evolved from a junior designer to a design manager with product and brand responsibility.
His first professional steps had been done in product design agencies in Germany and France, after graduating at the Fachhochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany.
